Building complex systems to solve real world problems is our primary motivator. We are engineers who do this for fun. We are eager to solve difficult hardware, software and electrical problems for mobile robotics solutions.
Patrick has an extensive background as a multi-disciplined principal working with highly complex electro-mechanical systems. Patrick has a BS/MS from WPI in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in dynamics and control theory, completing both programs simultaneously in 4 years. He began his career at iRobot Corporation developing next generation consumer robotics systems.
In 2009, Patrick joined Segway as a Vehicle Dynamics engineer in the Advanced Development group and worked as part of the PUMA project team responsible for delivering the embedded propulsion system for the GM/SAIC EN-V. His more recent work included redesigning the new Robotic Mobility Platform (RMP) embedded software architecture, which provides a highly flexible and expandable distributed processing framework for robotic systems and mobility solutions for industry, defense and research applications.
At Stanley Innovation, Inc. Patrick’s extensive experience, patent portfolio and academic achievements are leveraged to provide expertise in:
